To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
To foster the personal and spiritual growth of each young person
To encourage full participation in the life of the Catholic Church.
High School Youth Ministry - Teens for Christ
Meets Sunday evenings from October thru April from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the Youth Room located in the lower level of the school. Come and experience “TURTLE Sunday”. We will explore our relationship with God our Father and discover ways to deepen this bond through prayer, community, scripture, and sharing our stories.
Activities: National Catholic Youth Conference, the March for Life, a mission trip to our twin parish on the Navajo Reservation, as well as various retreats and community service projects. We host a Birthday party for Jesus in December and an Easter Egg Hunt in the Spring for the children of the parish.
We offer several Jr. High events throughout the year in collaboration with other area parishes. All programs fit into either the Service, Spiritual, or Social categories, and we are careful to balance these out annually. Some events include: the Rake ‘n Run, a ski trip, Jr. High overnight retreat, and the Amazin’ Grace Lock-In. All Jr. High events are open to all 7th and 8th graders of our parish and their friends.
