Men’s Group - ANSWER THE CALL

 On March 28, 1996, several of the men of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish attended a Mass at St. Gertrude Church in Madeira which was sponsored by the “Answer the Call Catholic Men’s Conference”.  After discussing the event with our pastor, Fr. Paul Stolz, it was decided that we would form a group in our parish so that we could avail ourselves of the conference the following year. Our first meeting was held on May 4, 1996 and we have been meeting monthly ever since. The format for a normal meeting is:

• Short social with coffee and doughnuts
• Prayer and song
• Introduction of new members or guests
• General items of business
• Gospel reading for the Sunday Mass and discussion 
• Petitions and closing with Our Father and final song
• Finish promptly at 9:30 am
