Liturgical Ministries

The Liturgical Ministers are a fraction of the Worship Commission.  Lay people, are charged with catechesis, direction of liturgy and music, religious education, and other pastoral ministries concerning liturgy. 

The lectors, Eucharistic ministers, servers, and ushers play key roles in the liturgy every Sunday; all of the lay ministers are trained before becoming a minister. 

We are very proud of the fact that here at Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, we have 55 active Lectors and 73 Eucharistic Ministers.  The Altar Servers, Art & Environment Committee, Gift Bearers, Lay Presiders, Cantors & Song Leaders are ever so important in helping the assembly feel welcome.  The people should feel encouraged by the ministers when they walk in the door - that's when the liturgy begins.
